Dr. Kenneth Francis Masuki

Kenneth F. Masuki is an Agricultural Scientist trained as a Soil Scientist (BSc), Soil and Water Engineer (MSc), and Agricultural Extension and Education (PhD). He has experience working on research and development in the field of agriculture with a focus on integrated soil fertility management, soil and water management, integrated natural resource management, integrated water resource management, knowledge management in natural resource management, research on methods and approaches for technology transfer, smallholder innovation system analysis, use of indigenous knowledge on NRM, innovation adoption dynamics, agro-ecosystem analyses, and impact assessments. Kenneth brings over 30 years of professional experience in Agricultural Research and Development in national, regional, and international organizations. He served as Principal Agricultural Research Officer with the Department of Research and Development under the Ministry of Agriculture in Tanzania. He worked as a Knowledge Management Specialist with the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) based in Uganda country office, He also served as Programme Manager of High-Value Non-Staple Crops at the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) at the Secretariat in Entebbe, Uganda. ASARECA is a consortium of 11 member states, which are Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
